I'm Christchankeith Marshall, known professionally as CKAY1. I've been working in sound since I was a kid, and by my early 20s I had a full production credit on Field Mob's Light Poles and Pine Trees (No. 7 Billboard 200). That album opened doors to Def Jam, Island Records, SYCO, and Disturbing Tha Peace.

In 2017 I made the move into film and television, composing for Banana Republic before partnering with WarnerMedia from 2019 through 2022. I designed sound and composed original music for NBA on TNT, TBS, TNT, MLB, and ELeague — work that earned two Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Live Sport Special for the 2020 NBA All-Star Game.

Since then I've continued on the film side (Cannes World Film Festival wins for Miles Ryder and Contact Man in 2023) and have expanded N.O.T.E.
